I like the half of the problem everyone skips.

I'm a computer science undergraduate at Dayananda Sagar University in Bengaluru, currently shipping backend services as an SDE intern at Reskilll. Most of what I work on sits somewhere between an API and a disk.

01  In short
I'm a computer science undergraduate at Dayananda Sagar University in Bengaluru, currently shipping backend services as an SDE intern at Reskilll. Most of what I work on sits somewhere between an API and a disk.
The work I'm proudest of is rarely the feature. It's the reconciliation script that retired a manual audit, the index that took 30% off a query, the fault-injection harness that proves a write survives a crash. Correctness under concurrency and failure is the interesting half of the problem, and it's the half that gets skipped.
Outside of shipping, I chair the ACM Student Chapter here — a 40+ member team running technical events and workshops — and I've taken first place at two national hackathons. Both are practice at the same thing: getting something real working, with people, before the clock runs out.
02How I work
01

Measure before you change

Profiles and query plans decide what gets optimised. A hunch about where the time is going is usually wrong.

02

Make failure a code path

Crash recovery, reconciliation and fault injection belong in the design, not in the postmortem.

03

Root-cause, don't patch

Duplicate records mean state is wrong somewhere upstream. Tracing it is slower once and faster forever.

04

Ship in small pieces

Incremental delivery, real code review and green CI turn production changes into routine instead of events.

05Beyond the code
01

First place, two national hackathons

Built and presented software solutions under competitive time constraints, twice taking first place at national level.

02

Chair, ACM Student Chapter

Lead a 40+ member team at Dayananda Sagar University, organising technical events, workshops and student engineering initiatives.
